Officials are trying to figure out if it was a black bear or a grizzly bear and why it attacked
After a bear attacked a tree planter in northeastern B.C., conservation officers are looking into what happened.
The Conservation Officer Service said in a short statement that the attack took place on Thursday near Tumbler Ridge.
The service said that the person was flown to a hospital in Prince George, but they did not know how bad their injuries were right away.
The attack is being looked into by four conservation officers. They will try to find the bear and figure out if it was a grizzly bear or a black bear.
They will also try to figure out why the worker was attacked by the animal.
The B.C. Emergency Health Services have been contacted by CBC News to find out more.
